Has anybody used the watercolor moleskines? I'm looking at buying one of the 8.5x11 sketchbooks, but their regular sketchbook paper doesn't take watercolor very well. I don't really want to get the watercolor one if that's all it's good for, though.

woah
Has anyone ever tried these, or something like them? I have a brushpen that I fill with water and carry around with this when I want to do watercolor sketches in my sketchbook, but the idea of having a set of pens like this is really tempting. It just seems a little limiting, though, like what if you need to mix a color?

I taught myself to make paper cranes today. I made 15, but now I don't really know what to do with them. Probably hang them around my room or something.

I was having trouble coming up with any good, solid resolutions for 2009 so I decided to try this instead. I'm really excited about it! Hopefully I can complete most of the list, if not the whole thing. :) I'll try to update my progress every now and then.

Wish me luck!

not the meme, but something I forgot to post

for the last project in comp ill. I originally had the whole table drawn out in pencil, but the end of the semester was pretty crunched and I didn't have time to color the whole thing. Oh well. :'D

Merry Christmas!

here's a meme.

The first 5 people to comment in this post get to request a sketch of a character of their choosing from me. In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their drawing ability level. If you absolutely can't draw, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to offer drabbles or icons or something instead.
