color studyyyy. I have a love hate relationship with it. On one hand I feel like I'm learning how to paint, on the other hand, I could totally see this kind of crap on like a collectible dinner plate or something oh god.

haha I should do a series of angry animals on dinner plates. Like you're eating your turkey at thanksiving and then SURPRISE there's a turkey on the plate and he's pissed as shit because you just ate his brother.

this is amazing!!! you shouldnt compare it to dinnerplate artwork though this is much more better! you are a very good tasted person, i love the finishing look you give to your work.

Whenever you post your art, my mind is completely blown. It's so insane to see how you've progressed as you've gotten older--try not to improve too much more, though, or you'll be a god by the time you hit 25. ;)

I really love the color scheme in this and the texture is just lovely - it has that double-fold quality of being so painterly and loose and yet being very convincing visually. ;n; And I love the atmosphere that red creates (for some reason I always love when people manage to use color well to reflect the environment/time of day/etc without really using any background!).
